Nose: The nose is Clean and Youthful, showing Medium(-) intensity primary aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, violet.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium(-) Unripe/Green/Stalky tannins and a High Level of alcohol (14.00%). It has Medium(-) body and Medium(-) intensity primary flavours of redcurrant, raspberry, violet. The finish is Medium(-). It has simple fruit flavours and unripe, grippy tannins.
Overall: Simple fruit flavours, short finish, high acidity out of balance and quite thin, lacks complexity.
Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing This lacks the concentration and tannic structure to improve with age. ; High priced (£14.95)
