Community Tasting Notes 1

December 20, 2014 - At Test Kitchen, Capetown. Very interesting wine - nose a little reticent but displaying hints of lemon, melon and apricot, plus slightly oxidative notes - almond and walnuts. Palate showed good minerality and freshness, with slight richness to the fruit. Very versatile with food across asparagus, beetroot, langoustine, foie gras and springbok. This will be fine for another 5yrs probably heading up from here, not sure the optimal window will stretch much past that. ***1/2 (****)
