  December 5, 2023 - Last bottle. It's been a long time since I cracked one open. I'm impressed with the longevity. Nose is a little funky -- dates, barnyard. Still presents a solid blast of red berry fruit, clean, not cloying. Medium bodied. A hint of pepper and herb on the finish. There are some signs of aging in the color and prunish edges, but the fruit still feels fresh.

  May 2, 2017 - The wine is dark ruby in color with medium legs. The nose is full of berriess like strawberry and cherry. The wine has soft tanins which round out the raspberry, strawberry, cedar and cherry notes. The body is medium. This is a delicious mouth full of fruit but it is balanced with enough acidity to make it a wonderful sipping wine or very nice with food. When I opened this bottle, I got a burst of wonderful pinot noir nose but the nose did not hold up. The mouthfeel is round and smooth and although there were several layers of flavor, the finish was not long.
