  October 25, 2018 - Concur with other reviews that this wine is better with food, but that's not saying much in my opinion. Very " barnyard" which I associate with Sangiovese. Not a fan.

  August 29, 2018 - Decanted for almost an hour. On the nose, overripe dark fruit, rustic earthy notes, some spice, high alcohol. On the palate, sour cherry, spice, light to medium body, nice acidity, slightly bitter at the end, medium finish. Better with food than a stand alone glass.

  Palate: very high acidity that pairs nicely with the tomato sauce of a pizza. That aside, not much there fruitwise besides a little sour cherry and plum. This is a wine made for food, not that great otherwise.

  May 27, 2016 - Meh! I have had some very nice Tuscan wines at the same price point, so I was really disappointed. Smoky, dusty, light boded, cherry and plum. Disjointed with a bitter finish.
