November 3, 2023 - Drinking exceptionally well now and likely to improve. Rose and mint on the nose, rich cherry fruit with savory herbs and grainy tannin. Well-balanced and lovely, but somehow has the life to keep getting better.

February 18, 2020 - May 2018. Blind with grilled lamb. Liked it this time as well. N: cooler, bit funky earth, iodine. P: soft, dark cherry, medicinal, tart+structured. 92.
May 2018: had in a 4-way blind tasting with mushrooms, mushroom & cheese pasta. V: ruby/garnet, clear, med conc. N: flowers, cherry, earth. P: softer, high tannin, high acid, sour cherry, med+ finish, animal? Meaty, bold, high tannin, pure fruit. 93. Might've been higher, it was up at 70° and it wants 65°. -

June 25, 2019 - Translucent red in the glass that faded toward the bowl. On the nose, I found cherry, strawberry, rose water and tar. The palate leaned toward the rose water characteristics with firm, but not overpowering tannin and juicy acidity. Medium length.
