February 27, 2018 - Opened and decanted, though it didn't sit for long as dinner was ready. Aromas of black fruit, candied black cherry and black raspberry with pepper and meaty undertones. The palate hints at blue fruit with a nice peppery spice coming in on the finish...really nice acidity here too. Made for a very nice pairing with a couple of ribeyes.
