March 24, 2016 - This is a blend of Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto, aged for 18 months in barrique and for another 18 months in the bottle prior to release. The vineyards of Rapsani are located at the slopes of Mount Olympus.
D+0h: no deposit in the filter, nor in the bottle, smells of currant D+4h: dark as ink, smells of raspberry and eucalyptus, full body, nice residual sugar without being sweet, in the mouth blackberry and a nice acidity, in the aftertaste there is blackberry and acidity again, the finish is rather short though, after tasting the full body it's like falling suddenly off a cliff, all in all not bad though1 person found this helpful Comment -

February 28, 2016 - Good stuff. The Xinomavro drives the bus, but the other varieties are making it bounce. Tart fruits give way to softer cherry notes. Wax, slight meaty notes. Finishes off with berries and a velvet aspect. Very balanced. Drops the intensity level a bit with time and the tart cherry/bites of Xino come to predominate. Enjoyed a lot.
