March 25, 2023 - PnP. Light to medium garnet, with a somewhat darker center core. Complex nose, dark wet earth, ash, black fruit, rusty minerals, some green elements.

Medium in weight, some just ripe chewy black cherry. Balanced, seamless finish with pretty good length. Little more weight with air.

Day 2: very put together, black raspberry and black cherry. Could see 93+ potential. Lots of life ahead of it yet.

December 3, 2022 - Good wine. A little fuller body than I was expecting. I really enjoyed it.

October 24, 2020 - Opened and left to breathe.
Once in the glass this shows vivid and ethereal aromas. Scents of muddled cherry, pomegranate juice, raspberry and cranberry are woven seamlessly with notes of earth, sea spray, chalk, bramble and hints of spice and flowers.
Racy and elegant at the same time. Bright acidity provides treble to the richer textures and deeper fruit notes. Seamless and open with rich red fruit flavors of pomegranate, cherry, raspberry and cranberry that are laced with spice, earth, mineral, herbs, slightly dried rose, fleur de sel and tea. the finish lingers impressively.
This should continue to evolve nicely but is drinking lovely now.

Carbonic, red-fruited, spice-inflected Nose. Medium-light bodied, with medium+ acidity; red-fruited presentation. Quite enjoyable right now, but no apparent rush to drink.

January 15, 2015 - Tasted at Clarion Wines Burgundy 2013 en primeur event - this was my wine of the night (of the 70 or so on display) - the nose already hinted that this was going to be something good and the fruit is already showing wonderfully through on the palate. Unlike many of the higher end reds that I tried, this was not overly sweet, showing excellent freshness. It was nice to meet the wine maker, Aurelien while I tried his wine and he said he was very pleased with the vintage. This could turn out to be really excellent indeed!
