September 28, 2019 - Classic nose, with aromas of black currant, leather, and blackberry jumping out of the glass. Dark berry, black currant, mint, and leather commingle on the palate, with integrated oak staying in the background. Tannins are still somewhat grippy - terrific now, but could be even better in a few years.

July 25, 2017 - Pure blackberry, cassis, slight herbal smokey note but not much; very mineral with a sack of rocks, loamy, etc., great structure, long. Amazing wine. Didn't take notes. At winery with Marty
