April 6, 2024 - Was delicious with grilled lamb chops tonight! Palate was a bit wound up at open - acid and tannins stood out. With some time in the air, the wine opened up nicely - fruit stepped up to balance other elements. Didn't feel like this basic cuvee has the structure to continue to age beyond the next 2 years. Have two of their 2011 vineyard cuvees in the cellar - hoping they have a bit more staying power.

September 2, 2023 - Decanted for an hour. Dark fruit, nice and refined, has calmed down in the past three years, still strong tannins. Nose shows blackberries and plum, palate has dark fruit with a touch of bitter chocolate. Delicious with grilled meats and vegetables!

July 24, 2022 - Way late on posting this TN, so all I remember is that this was very nice.

July 11, 2022 - Dark fruits (cassis, sloan, blackberries), dark chocolate, herbs, leather, coffee in a rich h nose
Coffee, bitter chocolate, sloan, good acidity, tannins are still present but softened. Blueberries in a balanced aftertaste
Cellared for 7 years which did the trick to soften the tannins. Again it is true that a Bandol should be at least 7-8 years old before being consumed 🍷🍷🍷 and this one can certainly be kept for another couple of years 😊

May 14, 2022 - My last bottle from a case. Drinking the best I have have had of it so far. Just as a Bandol should be.
