April 9, 2023 - Considering the marginal storage conditions this bottle saw over the years, this was very good. Double-decanted two hours before serving. Deeply aromatic - plum, cedar, burnt sage. A touch coppery in the finish upon opening, the fruit sweetened with air and gained length. Lovely alongside lamb with fennel and onions. I didn't have high hopes for this so really a pleasure all in all.

December 23, 2022 - Nach 60(!) Jahren und perfekter Lagerung einfach nur grandios. Steht da wie 40 Jahre jünger, zeigt immer noch Frucht und Struktur. Beeindruckend!

November 21, 2007 - Still in very good shape. Absolute no signs of tiredness. Rather elegant and medium bodied, smooth tannins, burgundian mouthfeel.
