August 13, 2018 - Featherweight cranberry and pomegranate fruit with dried leaves, bog, gravel behind it; translucent and low alcohol, but not low flavor or thin; a style much appreciated on a warm day or with Asian flavors

November 28, 2017 - Guillemot Les Serpentières lineup: Only disappointment among the Guillemots we opened. The aromatics are pretty; fresh cherry and cranberry scents with more savoury earthy, almost gravelly notes, but it feels thin and hollow on the palate compared to the other vintages we had. There's a faintly bitter, astringent quality to the finish, and it doesn't improve substantially over a few hours of air.

August 15, 2016 - Light ruby. Bright red fruit, earth, and black tea on the nose. Light body, with tart red berry and a strong minerality on the palate. Finishes a bit austere but otherwise very pretty.

June 21, 2016 - Still delicious and open with tart cherries, rose petals, orange rind, and earth.

May 8, 2016 - This light-to-medium ruby wine flaunts a gorgeous nose of raspberries, cinnamon, clove and black tea. Light-bodied, fresh and with soft tannins, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and shows nothing but silence from its stealth 12.5% alcohol. Although this is a relatively light-bodied wine, it has substantial density on the mid-palate and closes with impressive length. This feminine Pinot is flying under the radar by virtue of its appellation. It is a joy to drink and should be at its best over the next five years. Drink now-2021.
