May 19, 2023 - On tour with Tim and Phil day two (Beechworth and King Valley): Served Blind.
Red and black fruits, polished oak is controlled, mushrooms, Autumn leaves, slight ashy underpin is the only sign of the vintage. Juicy, tangy, nice acid line, brambly fruit has a slightly jubey note, gently textured tannic burr, very long. Lovely.
    I knew this was mine.

March 8, 2023 - Coravin fun - Burgundy (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Ashy, spicy, black hued fruits, slight leather, earth, slight mushroom, a little polished oak and a slightly dilute note. Juicy, fleshy, slightly sour muted red and black fruit, earthy, mushrooms, savoury, talc textured persistent tannins are quite leather. That ashy note present as well but more controlled that previous tastings. Okay.

August 20, 2022 - Tasted blind Wow, savoury nose with plum, ripe and mature, generous, farmyard. Impressive and rich palate, almost Richebourg richness. Fully mature. A big surprise when we saw this was a 2004. Well done Robert Arnoux.

November 2, 2020 - From Coravin. Rich dark fruit but with the telltale herbaceous quality associated with this vintage, a bit of ash and cedar here as well. In the mouth there is a little sour lolly quality to the blackcurrant and berry fruit, plentiful tannins that are drying and floury textured. Long.Nie

December 26, 2019 - Not sure, could’ve been a bad bottle or just tired… Wine did not taste off but had substantially less vigor on the nose and less weight on the palate than what I would have expected from a relatively young grand cru. Still had Vosne spice and nice red and dark fruit notes. Consider drinking sooner rather than later.
