March 6, 2024 - A wonderful Oregon PN, and drinking beautifully at 12 years. Smooth, elegant, wonderful structure and balance, long finish and age has given it more complex flavors. Cherry, dried wild strawberry, earthy, mushroom, baking spice, forest floor. So well made!

February 23, 2024 - Red cherry and decaying wood, primary and secondary intermingled nicely on the nose. M+ acidity, tannins nearly gone. Clean and layered, fruit still strong but accompanied by a fungal background. Excellent.

November 23, 2023 - From a magnum. Slow oxed 6 hours before enjoying with Thanksgiving dinner. Still very fresh and youthful despite its 11 years. Full berry fruits, elegant rather than rich. Nicely balanced and acidic. Opened more in the glass and might have benefitted from a full decant rather than a slow ox. Very enjoyable and a good choice but my last magnum can wait a few more years.

November 3, 2023 - Decanted 3 hours. Med purple/ruby, med/full nose. This wine is spot on and simply delicious. A touch lighter than the CA big boys if nevertheless shows power for an Oregon. Fully resolved tannins, super smooth and integrated, the balance is ideal. One could pound down the entire bottle in short order. Drink now, nothing off. Rob's bottle.

September 2, 2023 - Poured into a decanter and then drank straight away, over 2 hours. Very pleasant whiff of barnyard, some baking spices. Strawberry and cherry on the palate. Still a nice bit of acidity and a very pleasant tartness, with a long finish.
