Community Tasting Notes 6

September 6, 2016 - Can't believe that cat urine was not mentioned in the previous notes - it's there on the nose. But past that, there are aromas of lemongrass and flit that come through that I enjoy, and the palate is fairly well rounded. A nice cali SB.

February 26, 2016 - Exquisite, with wonderful floral notes

February 16, 2016 - Probably would have been better a year ago, but a well made RRV SB.

substantial body and low acidity compared to other regions of SB with the softer style i look for in California. tropical stone fruit on the nose and palate with a bit of flint and honeysuckle on the finish.

good but not particularly memorable. to be fair, i'm drinking it past its prime.

March 3, 2015 - Clear, very pale straw. Violets, rose petals, pineapple. Not sweet, low acids, no tannins. Lemon peel. Short slightly acidic finish.

February 19, 2015 - Wines at reception at Lowrie House ( Chris Eisgruber house) (Princeton, NJ): Tasty wine. Good floral notes, grapefruit, grass, little mineral, good acidity.
