Community Tasting Notes 2

January 6, 2016 - Showing less in your face traits of its oxidative style than other vintages, this had pecan, walnut and nutskin notes, dried citrus peel, and dry porcini, but all in a mellow style and moderate proportions. Nice medium length finish with just a little uncontrolled acidity at the end. Great with food, in this case caviar and egg.

January 15, 2015 - Vivid, muscular, orange/mandarin rind, palo cortado, mushroom, stock. Wonderful.
