August 3, 2023 - Second bottle of this wine this year. Notes very much in line with the previous bottle. Sour cherry and plum, herbal and earthy notes. Palate completely resolved, rich mid-palate carries onto and long balanced finish. So easy and satisfying. Time to drink up.

November 6, 2020 - Dark ruby in color. Dark cherries and florals, forest floor, asian and wood spices on the nose. Medium bodied palate shows sweet-tart dark berries, hoisin, medium acidity, no tannins and a medium finish with cedar and minerals. Nothing great but no hint of green meanies on this 2004 GC.

January 26, 2018 - Much better bottle than the one I had last April. This one was more open and ripe, with pretty good balance and no green notes. A little thin, but some nice complexity. Not a memorable wine, but good for the vintage.
