Initially very closed, then lush dark cherry fruit and earth.
Dark fruit repeats on the palate, mineral, robust tannins & acidity. But fresh. Lots of matiere and earthy nuits character. Grippy finish with lift. Serious stuff.
This is really delicious, nuits earthiness and very slight medicinal character but lovely pure fruit quality and very balanced. Drinking beautifully now but many years ahead. -

February 28, 2012 - Berry and cream on the nose, a bit of Burgundy sweetness and a nice start but went leaden after that with no real finish. Day 2 had opened up with a more defined structure and more to offer. Sturdy w/o a doubt
