November 14, 2010 - Austrian and Spanish Wines on the Fino patio (Fino Restaurant, Austin, Texas): With some quite noticeable oxidation and botrytis character, this wine was beginning to slide but still interesting. It had medium acid and roasted, baked, and stewed flavors, including roasted squash nuts, baked apple, caramel and butterscotch, honey, brazil nut, pepper, tobacco, and lemon. Enjoyed by most tasters, but a bit hollow for some.
