January 3, 2023 - Aired in glass for 30 minutes.
Aroma: initial aromas of soil, then lemons, peaches, grilled pineapples, grassy notes and honeysuckle.
Palate: citrus fruits, bright acidity, well-balanced with a long finish. Paired nicely with a aged St. Albans cows’ milk cheese, basque cheese and marinated mushrooms. It also paired nicely with guacamole! It mellowed out the bright acidity, making the wine more rounded. Still delicious on day 4, which is rare for new world wines in my experience. 92-93

June 6, 2021 - Decanted for 30 minutes. The color was a clear medium yellow. On the nose there was lemon, with touches of tropical fruit and vanilla, and a hint of floral. The medium to plus bodied palate showed the lemon, tropical fruit, vanilla, along with some minerality. The acidity is lively and balancing, and there is a hint of lemon pith on the finish. Should hold for several years.

February 14, 2021 - Apples, almonds, lemon, a hint of butter, and minerals on the nose. Nice acidity with notes of green apples, lime, crushed rocks, and just a bit of richness on the palate. Good finish. The nose is a bit round, but the palate much more tart and angular. With some time in the glass, there is a slightly smokey note on the nose and a bit more herbs on the palate. Nice wine.

October 31, 2020 - Tasted double blind and correctly identified as New World Chardonnay. Slightly floral with some still pronounced new oak with good+ weight. Says 13.0% alcohol, but finish seems warmer. I liked this wine more when younger and fresher. Drink up.
