March 2, 2024 - Despite the great reviews, this didn't do it for me. I am not a huge Volnay fan to begin with but this was relatively one-dimensional red fruit without depth or length.

November 4, 2023 - Bottle breathe for 3 hour and then decant for another 20 minute. Attractive nose with condensed cherry, and fruity. The palate is full body, and very smooth, with loads of tannin integrated into the juice. Start the drinking period, but somehow this bottle is lack of complexity I have expected.

October 26, 2023 - Still quite tannic, chambolle like nose, may benefit with more cellaring but not likely to improve dramatically more from here.

May 28, 2023 - Light body. Found this to be quite disjointed, closed and tight with high acidity and limited fruit. Even on day 2 this did not improve. I am not sure further cellaring will improve it much.

November 12, 2022 - Over 4-5 hours. Color is light and pretty transparent. There’s a tart cherry, and an underlying stony/mineral note. A little structure still there but, for me, it is at the very beginning of its drinking window (which should be long). Excellent wine.
