Community Tasting Notes 1

August 29, 2013 - C: Medium to light, golden yellow.
N: Gooseberry, nettle leaves, black currant bush / green shrubbery, yellow fruit (yellow plums? peaches?). Quite aromatic. A bit sharp.
P: Fruity attack, some citrus acidity. Becomes much flabbier through the mid-palate, and a touch alcoholic. Very smooth, but unfortunately slightly on the flabby side. Black currant leaves and some yellowish fruit on the finish, medium to short finish.
O: Good value, nice aromatic nose, decent concentration. Perhaps a bit too much oak and alcohol?
