December 24, 2016 - Ruby, medium legs. Aromas and flavors of tart berries -- cranberry, raspberry; hint of spice -- clove and nutmeg. Polished texture, light to medium body, medium finish, medium acidity. Overall, a very pleasant Christmas Eve wine. As a $26 purchase at the winery, QPR is below average. But, a solid, balanced effort from what is becoming a key CO producer for me. Drink now or into 2017. Paired well with salmon and beef.
