March 9, 2022 - Young and a bit shy, but good!

May 18, 2021 - Opened at 3pm, capped until 8pm. What was tightly wound upon original taste, unfurled beautifully to show explosive aromatics of intense high toned red fruit, exotic spices, fresh violets and just a touch of woodsmoke that’s followed by a cool mineral infusion with fine grained tannins.

The wine shows such class, focus and vibrancy, and I love the elegance of the vintage in combination with the vineyard. Takes it to another level, and it’s only going to get better. I’m definitely a big fan of Petits Monts. Along with Malconsorts, it’s hard to contest that there’s no better premier cru in Vosne Romanée than those two, located spitting distance from Richebourg and La Tâche, respectively.

April 22, 2020 - A wine showing real potential and giving pleasure with a good decant, but still just hinting at its peak. Fragrant and spiced red fruited aromas that are impressive. Dark cherry fruits with a firm solid core, yet showing a sweet red fruit element and nice baking spices. Structured and a bit closed, yet still offers up some real pleasure. Needs time with upside.

January 9, 2019 - No formal note but recall a clear, bright, dark and intense ruby. Pronounced nose. Medium acidity. Medium to full body. Balanced.
