December 20, 2018 - Pale garnet. A bit cloudy pouring more than one glass. Smells quite strongly of flowers (viols), some pomegranit. Delicate, slightly sweet and complex taste. Medium bodied, juicy texture. Finely integrated tanins. Long. Still holding on nicely after 2 nights open.

December 6, 2017 - Very forward, ripe and brutish. Natural feel to it. So-so.

July 18, 2017 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $60+ (Alpharetta, GA): Cloudy orange crimson, see through; lovely nose, white pepper that makes me think powdery mildew, Syrah like but not, orange peel, aged and complex, raspberry, sour red fruit, resolved liqueur, pomegranate tea; great mouthfeel, some cola, marmelade, higher alcohol, spicy, orange cranberry, medicinal Grenache character, unique and delicious; was on Domaine de Tours Vacqueyras immediately but was going back and forth between a well done aged and unique New World wine as the glycerin levels are high; a very good value, Rayas like for sure.

March 18, 2017 - I was high on weed and champagne when I had this wine. It had been open for two days. It was pretty good. Pronounced strawberries. Not a lot of tannins left. But a bit of a yeast effect on the finish, which I like.
