April 15, 2016 - Slightly overly acidic. Pretty flat and unintersting. While drinkable it's certainly not $55 worth. If I was blindly guessing it was in the $15-$20 range.

March 2, 2016 - Aromatically, this initially reminded me of the many value southern Rhones that I used to seek out and/or discover (Mas de Brassadas comes to mind). Problem here is that this is no value (@$55) and it's so angular and disjointed, I honestly can't find any redeeming qualities in this wine.
Let's see if anything develops after its open a while...but I'm not hopeful.
