August 19, 2023 - Rose petals and cherry compote. Elegant and light like a BDM should be. Medium finish brought the score down. It’s not fading but won’t get better either.

January 29, 2023 - Lovely structure and balance. There is cherry and plum as the primary fruit. Fine grained tannins and balanced acidity provide the core for a long finish. Hard to find fault.

July 6, 2022 - Cellared at 55 since acquisition at release. Beautiful deep ruby w brown highlights - cocoa,espresso, balsamico, soy, and raspcherry liqueur - richness buoyed by crisp focusing acids cast upon regally tannic frame. No rush but I am pretty sure this wine is at its long flat-topped apogee. In a great place at 12 yrs old.

November 10, 2021 - Drinking well now. Complex ripe fruit, acidity and perfect overall balance. Really enjoyable now, may improve still.
