  November 17, 2023 - Lighter yellow in color. Nose of caramel and yeast. Taste of pear, apple, and grapefruit. Light, slightly sweet, and crisp.

  August 13, 2021 - Aged Californians in Wellington (Abbot Street, Ngaio, Wellington, New Zealand): Delicious, well- balanced sparkler that has little to do with the flavory profile of Champagne, but convinces on a broad mouthfeel, frothy texture, and excellent acid balance. This is in no way overbearing, and the age has not dimmed the sense of freshness in this wine.

  December 11, 2020 - A night of Riesling and Pinot in Ngaio!; 12/11/2020-12/13/2020 (Abbot Street, Ngaio, Wellington, New Zealand): Rich and nutty, new world in style, but the fruit quality is classy, and the depth of the palate is outstanding. Aged character and beautiful balance.
