January 31, 2017 - Delicious as always, this Cab Sauv/Merlot/Cab Franc/Syrah blend continues to be one of my top value purchases, as the Thumbprint tasting room had a special of $100 for 4 bottles when we visited last and re-joined the wine club. Should've bought more! Anyway, I would describe it as "fat" and "juicy" with a little bit of earthiness. Blackberries, anise, great mouthfeel, not too tannic. Says it's 14.5% ABV but it might be higher? Alcohol does have its say in the overall taste.

December 24, 2016 - Drank Christmas Eve at Terry's place with baked polenta and mushroom dish. it's got a bit of spice, fruit forward but structured with balanced tannins. Everybody really liked this wine.
