September 22, 2017 - Theme was Rioja. This still performs well for a $6.99 bottle of wine, and performs well without regard to price. Dark red, with the beginnings of brick at the edge. Complex but subtle nose of dark fruits and some earth. Still a bit tough on the palate - needs more time. Long finish. Would probably have been rated higher by the tasters without seeing the label.

October 8, 2016 - 87pt. Did not enjoy the first bottle and wanted to relegate the 2nd to a future sangria. Decanted this for an hour and much easier to drink. Medium structure, fruit, fresh leather. Drink now

October 7, 2016 - Theme was Tempranillo, tasted against some impressive stuff, Muga and the like. Held its own. Fruit has faded just a bit, but this still has plenty of time left. Amazing for the price.
