April 8, 2024 - Drinking very nicely. There’s plush soft rose scented cherry fruit up front and a nice long finish with a welcome gentle rasp of fine tannin. Touch more acidity would be good but I guess that’s the nature of this warm vintage. 4+

March 31, 2024 - Ready to go! Open and soft, touch more acidity would be good but this is delicious. Held its own against 2004 Cavallotto Riserva and a Gaja 2001 Sori Tildin!

    October 24, 2023 - Sarasto’s review below accurate.
Really decent wine. Rose on n. Light red in glass. Solid red, blue and dark red fruit on p. Nice balance and length. Drying tannin on finish.
I enjoyed it and would buy again.

  • Veg Does not like this wine:

June 21, 2023 - I’m not sure if this was slightly corked but it was thin, lacking fruit and gave me no pleasure. Will try another soon.

March 30, 2023 - First bottle was corked so I opened right way my last one.

Opted to let it air in the stems, Riedel Vinum Pinot Noir, and drank it during the whole evening

This is a Barolo that is truly elegant, ethereal and harmonious. A nice light nebiolesque color matching its light soul.

Villero and the hands of Fenocchio in a not easy vintage resulted in very drinkable and never boring Barolo that was fun to follow during the evening when it opened up.

Some balsamic and secondary red and black small fruits notes. Good acidity, well integrated tannins.

Just right now, glad I drank it in this moment even though it was my last bottle.

This is not a Barolo for those researching shear power, fruit bombs or old 80's Barolo boys as it reminds more traditional Barolo style from older years.

Not a superstar but a lovely companion for the evening.

Will keep my 2011 Fenocchio Cannubi and Bussia bottles some more time
