  July 19, 2017 - The nose showed intense strawberry and cherry tones, with a dusting of sweet spice, smoke, minerals, hints of olive and underbrush. On the palate, I found silky, almost creamy textures with an intense display of dried cherry, minerals and spice. The finish was long on saturating fruit combined with a coating of fine tannin and minerality.

  July 16, 2016 - The nose showed big, rich red fruits, with notes of burnt crust, sweet spice and undergrowth. On the palate, I found focused red fruits, fine tannin, yet little in the way of depth. It turned savory toward the finish, yet the wood tannin here seems to get in the way. This could simply use time to flesh out, yet there’s a lack of freshness on the nose that worries me.

  July 19, 2015 - Enjoyed with the family at Taverna Trilussa. Drank like a more mature wine than I expected from a 2010. Beautiful color and aromas. Nice evolution of texture from front to back palate with a long finish. Perfect match to a great meal.
