  Straw color with a clean nose. Right away get that green grass nose with grapefruit, lemon pith and also a nice floral note as well. No signs of oak on the nose. Elevated acidity with a medium body. Not as large and powerful as other SB from Napa, but instead a lightly balanced white wine perfect for summer drinking. The green grassy notes which are in many Sauvignon Blanc are very quickly apparent in this wine, I don't mind them, but I know some that would not like this wine because it is very strong in this wine.

  December 27, 2016 - Holiday Wine Tasting with Family - NON Wine Geek Version (Brattleboro, VT): Wine 1.2 Tasted double blind. On the nose grapefruit - thinking sauvignon blanc. On the palate this shows tart acidity balancing the citrusy grapefruit and passion fruit. Very bright and fresh. Favorite of the flight for me and the group with 33 pennies voted.
