  The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black pepper and alcohol/hot. It tastes like blackberry, red currant, light toast, lead pencil, oak, black pepper, clove, tobacco and alcohol/hot. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

  May 29, 2020 - Fantastic bottle of wine, let sit for 1 hour prior to drinking and it and continued to open up. Zesty, spicy very well balanced, enjoyed with family.

  December 19, 2019 - Opened up after a few hours of air - the end of the bottle was by far the best. We gave it about an hour and a half of air before pouring but hadn’t decanted it. Started out a little overly fruity but balanced out with medium dryness by the end. Nice but not my favorite.
