    August 7, 2023 - Still very young...
Slightly tanning, smoother the next day. Earthy, tobacco , dark Berry, good acid, medium body, medium dry, great drink at it's age and price point

March 24, 2022 - Ha whadda know! I’ve had this 3 times now. A touch hollow but still quite classic. Dry red sinewy fruits, a touch dull but I mean in a nice BDX sorta way. A little gamey. BDX Superior level. Might be the best sub $16 cab in the country.

February 3, 2021 - Well it seems this wine does exceed outplay its $11 station in a huge way. I'm sensing not point keeping further but at 8yrs this is super solid budget drinking. Herbs, light savoury touches, light sandy tannins and some dry red berries to finish. Really not much wrong here all things considered.

April 28, 2020 - The predominant colour is purple and is of full intensity.
Mostly primary in nature, the nose is rather plummy for Cabernet. There are also violets, cherries and whiffs of mint here.
A medium bodied palate brings the addition of blackcurrant and pencil lead to the mix. Acidity is to the fore, tannins less so. It doesn't hang around overly long, but not bad for an entry level label.
Solid quality, and considering the outlay very good value.

November 2, 2019 - Aging well within drinking window and after an hour of decant

Cassis leather and spice on the nose. Higher acidity pushes pronounced spice pepper notes over fruit. Integrated finish with lingering heat.
