May 8, 2020 - 93+. This wine is really in its prime. Bold, sweet fruit comes through, typical of Nicora wines, but this wine also has excellent structure and balance.

March 12, 2019 - Violets, anise seed, boysenberry coulee, and some roasted meats pretty much sun up this lovely wine. Aging nicely. No decant was necessary.

December 30, 2018 - My, this is good. It has the "house character" of Nicora wines, being very feminine, perfumy, and full of sweet ripe fruit. This is not the style of Syrah I usually drink, but it is exceptionally well made. I think Nicora wines are the best of those produced in Paso, and consistently so.
Edit: with an additional hour of air, anise and chocolate notes come to the fore.2 people found this helpful Comments (1)
