January 4, 2017 - Recommend one hour to open. Old school or “classic” Brunello which unfortunately is my favorite style. Underwhelming compared to the other half dozen 2010’s I’ve had. Not very expressive, Low toned nose with terroir driven profile, dry pebbles, mahogany, mushroom, dry twigs, barely a hint of red fruit peeking through. Palate is linier, dry, with light tannins, medium bodied and fine balancing acidity, bitterness. Fruit profile leans black cranberry and sour red cherry skins. This could be the house style but, in a year such as 2010, I don’t get it. Priced @ $40 its no bargain. Suckling rated 95. Have no idea what they served him but, it wasn’t the same wine I’m drinking now. Purchased from retail shop and enjoyed 60 – 70 with grilled beef. Drinking window now – 4 years…Na zdrowie

March 18, 2016 - Fresh cut flowers, dark cherries and plums. Hints of spices and dark cherries. Decanted for 1 hour. Needed 2 or 3 hours.
