May 12, 2017 - Light and moderate cherry.

March 11, 2017 - Aerated and decanted for 60 minutes. Lots of strawberry and cherry with good balance of tannins and acid. More restrained than Walt's California pinots with good complexity.

June 11, 2016 - Dark garnet in glass, showing density and extraction. Rich aromas and mouthfeel of wild cherry and earth carry to the palate with waves of dark-fruit flavors, some notes of black soil and cinnamon spices. Delicious and long finish. Walt knocks this out of the park.

May 6, 2016 - Nice showcase for the Shea fruit here. Lots of extraction, deep garnet color with aromas of wild berries and cardamom that carry right to palate in a fruit-dominated profile, but backed up with some complexity, and balanced by a sufficient acidity. Still integrating, so expect some improvement in the medium term.

February 27, 2016 - For such a great winery and vineyard I was surprised. The noise was so constrained as hard to give description. Mid-palate and finish were very smooth so obviously good winemaking. This is all in the first 15 minutes. At the end of the bottle the wine was taking on some weight. I sense 2013 was a restrained vintage.
