March 12, 2014 - 45 year old vines. Definitely a cut above, lots of structure and cut across the palate. A rather hard driving wine, meaning its got lots of life to it. Hints of rasination at the back of the palate. Lots of stuffing in the bottle. Needing time. Just opened it as well.
