November 11, 2022 - Jim V's btl at our terrific Old Guy's Lunch at the Kenwood in Minneapolis. I liked this but not a head turner. Nicely aged BDX and elegant SJ. 90-91

July 13, 2022 - Very nice showing. Light and elegant as always from this house, sometimes too light. This one is ok if you like classic proportions. Fully mature, drink up.

April 3, 2022 - If I wouldn‘t have had it right next to the 1990 Cos, I would have probably given it a hugher score. Fantastic wine from an underrated vintage - open now, you‘ll enjoy every sip. I don‘t think this wine will improve further

March 13, 2021 - Finding beauty in "off" vintages with Jane Anson (Virtual 67 Pall Mall - replay): Bouquet of stewed fruit, undergrowth, truffle and a spicy finish. Fine but not a lot of density. Fine tannins, easy-drinking and juicy finish. Good, not amazing

November 17, 2019 - Pale ruby, animal, earthy, leather, black cherries on the palate with great structure, lighter body, but still nice & complex. In a great drinking window
