September 7, 2022 - 94++ hardly any color variation at the rim. Beautiful deep ruby color . Palate bursting with deep red and black fruit . Tannins we’ll integrated , notes of black olive, soy, a bit of cigar box, very complex . Drinking beautiful , some years to go

August 29, 2020 - Dark garnet colored. Violets and licorice in the nose. On the palate dark cherries, blackberries, licorice and soft vanilla notes. Medium+ bodied with a medium acidity. Medium complexity - good structure, not hot or overdone, quite cold climate style. Medium to long finish.
An interesting Syrah from a winery I didn’t know before. This feels already on its climax so better drink up within the next years.

August 6, 2017 - Had as a stand alone mainly with a little cheddar and an Italian parmigiana/reggiano type cheese and paired wonderfully. A little oak on the nose and palette with some black fruit characteristics. Great mouthfeel with a medium tannnic back end . Medium plus finish.

January 31, 2017 - rich oaky nose - notes of coconut and some menthol
Full body, perfumed with notes of violets, dark chocolate, vanilla and coconut. Lots to like here but it does seem to lack the freshness and grace of the 2010.
Oak a little prominent at the moment. I'd wait to drink this.

October 29, 2015 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2015-07; Syrah/Shiraz world wide (By HV): Ripe dark forest fruits, sweet spices and beautiful oak in the bouquet. On the palate dark berries, sweet and salty licorice, and a lot of vanilla from the oak. This is a blockbuster with a lot of everything, but also good acidity and tannin. Would like to taste again in a few years. For tonight 88+
