January 2, 2023 - Absolutely spectacular on day two. Classically, I wish I left more than 2 glasses. The level of complexity, the profound concentration and elegance, softness of the palate, the length - all that is just dreamy. So why 99pts. and not 100? ha! I know, but a guy can dream, right? Absolutely stupendously lovely!

    December 28, 2021 - Absolutely spectacular wine.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blackberry, blueberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. Reviews would suggest that bottle was out of drinking window -- absolutely not easily good for another 5 years before it starts to drop! Wine was drinking beautifully!

August 7, 2020 - WOW! no hint of age dark opaque purple...stone fruit, stewed prunes, currents, a fruit bomb...but loaded with alcohol...tannins are smooth, but my teeth are purple . I’m wondering why Parker liked it so much ;-). its 75 in the Seattle area, maybe too warm but there was this btl of 3, sayin come on drink me...smoother after a good hour decant

July 19, 2020 - Opaque dark garnet. Nose redolent of spice and mature fruit. Full mouthfeel. Still possessed plenty of fruit. Beware the sediment.
