  September 1, 2018 - Still wonderful once the funk blew off in half an hour. Good old PN very drinkable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, this was the last bottle, sigh.

  July 6, 2017 - Surprisingly, this wine continues to improve. A bit rough at opening but settling down to great Oregon PN flavor and nose after a few minutes. It also kept well stoppered on the counter with nitrogen. Drank over a period of five days (!!) and still wonderful. Some of these old Oregon PN age fabulously. This one certainly did.

  December 9, 2016 - As others have noted this was quite closed upon opening. Needs at least an hour to open up. Once it does it has a big flamboyant almost amarone-like nose with dried fruits and some noticeable VA. Palate is noticeably more structure, with a fine core of tannins and acidity, but the dried almost pruney fruit comes through here and on the finish. Finish is rather short. Odd juxtaposition of structure and seemingly over-rope fruit. Doesn't seem like a wine to age further. Strangest Oregon wine I've had.
