Community Tasting Notes 4

April 2, 2015 - Nice acidity, a lot of oak but still OK balance, green notes of lime and lemongrass, buttery finnish. Nothing special but still worth trying

March 10, 2015 - Color: clear, thin, pale yellow.
Scent: heavy and powerful scent of oak and butter. Pear, orange flowers. Citrus.
    Taste: citrus, mandarin, low acidity.

A good price for Meursault but the acidity is to low. There are better whines out there for the same price.

March 7, 2015 - Clean, pure fruit, great mineral notes and a little too obvious popcorn sensation from oak treatment. A little weak acidity makes the wine a little off-fresh, but it's really not that much of a problem. Over all good concentration and maybe a couple of years in the cellar would make the wine more harmonious.

February 27, 2015 - Pale lemon color with green reflexes.

Youthful nose with a medium+ aroma intensity. Right off the bat crazy amounts of toasted oak and butter. Behind all this oak and MF you can find some tropical fruits, lemons, sulfuric minerality and candied nuts. But once again, over the top oaky.

Dry on the palate with a medium acidity and medium+ body. The flavor intensity is medium and the finish is medium. The oak is dominating on the palate too. The MF-butteryness is also pronounced. It does show some lemon and tropical fruits on the palate though.

It is a fairly priced village-level burgundy at 20EUR but there is a lot of better options out there for the same amount of dough. Unless you're a sucker for oak.
