  September 15, 2023 - This needed decanting off a lot of soft sediment and some tartrate crystals. Worth the effort, with intense crunchy red berry and cherry fruit, some truffle notes and a smooth long finish.

  November 20, 2018 - decent carignano which seems a little bit simple and flat compared to others like Is Solinas from Argiolas (cheaper) or Assaje from Capichera (higher price tag). Little depth and monotone taste at the palate. Nonetheless it is pleasant also alone. Now in the hands of Santa Margherita vini (Marzotto family) kings of Pinot Grigio.

  February 28, 2015 - tasted at a free wine tasting of the winemaker at Radrizzani in Milan. Top wine of Gavino Sanna from carignano cepage, with some barrique (second use). Nice and authentic carignano. Tasted also "Gavino" reserve (not for sale as we speak) which is amuch powerful and complex carignano from a single cru, aged in new tonneau. Really enticing (92-93). Maybe after Vinitaly they will put it on rhe market.
