August 6, 2022 - Fun trio of 88, 89, and 92 Ruchottes.
The 88 was close to over the hill for me, particularly on the nose. The palate did provide a modicum of joy. The group was split, with a few enjoying it much more than others.
The 89 was mature, exotic, delicious, and by objective tasting measures should have been WOTF.
But the 92 was, for my tastes, a perfect and enticing bottle from the first sip. We kept contrasting it to the 89, which had so much going. But the 92 was simply divine.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 9, 2020 - Spearmint, citrus, custard grilled nut and smoked fruit. It takes an hour to fully open up the wine. Lots of acidity on the palate with excellent fruit precision. Great length and depth despite being a village. An ageless Ramonet that should improve with further aging.

October 18, 2019 - A wine from and tasted with BurgNick. A few older white Burgs were presented ahead of this but, wow, this was a massive step up. What really grabbed me was the level of complexity for a 1st cru as well as a lingering mineral finish along with the classic elements of popcorn. There is that impossible combination of aged sensations and tertiary character along with incredible freshness. Lovely.

October 18, 2019 - Bottle purchased on release. Spearmint, yellow fruit, custard, popcorn and honeysuckle. Palate was so clean and precise with freshness and acidity. It kept developing more layers and nuances in the glass. An exceptional bottle of Ramonet that was so complex and intriguing.
