May 25, 2015 - Straw color. Nose: lemon curd, pineapple core, and Asian pear with accents of vanilla wafer, brioche, meringue, toasted hazelnut, lime zest, orange blossom, nutmeg, and river stone. Medium body on the palate: lemon/lime curd, pineapple core, and green apple framed by brioche, tangerine zest, vanilla cream, hazelnut, white pepper, and clove. Medium+ acidity. Lingering citrus zest, green apple skin, brioche, and clove on the moderate/long finish. Nicely balanced with excellent focus and good length. Pair with baked/broiled whitefish, chicken salad, soft creamy cheeses, or white sauced pasta dishes. Drink over the next 3-4 years.
