April 13, 2021 - Had a chance to try a cellared bottle. Very much improved - deeper fruit of ripe cherries, cured ham, black pepper, basil. Tannins have integrated, medium+ length gained. Quite rewarding for the price.

A midsection of a sweet strawberry jam and acidic fruit yields to a smoky and spicy finish of a pine resin mixed with a touch of a bitter fruit pit. Reticent spice aromatics need to be coaxed from a glass. Made to show more of dense fruit and less of nervous spiciness. Average.
