September 24, 2015 - Petillant, as it says. There's not quite enough fruit here to handle the acidity and carbonation, so it ends up tasting a little thin and almost metallic. As far as dry, acidic lightly sparkling wines go, I'd prefer a txakolina. I've had two bottles of this - one now and one a couple months ago. The one a couple months ago was substantially better - less raw and brutal. My sense is that the second bottle was not particularly representative, but also that these should be consumed *as young as possible* 10.5%, $13.

July 31, 2015 - This is not exactly my favorite style of light sparkler. To me the overwhelming acidity, and the raw taste of CO2 interfere with pure fruitiness. I can understand why many would like this, and could learn to love this as the first taste at 5PM. The nose is bright and floral. There is a mildly bitter, nutty component. It is extremely refreshing and mouth cleansing. Seems to become more friendly to my palate as it gets some time in the glass.

June 1, 2015 - Charming! Fizzy, fresh and fruity. Not to keep but an excellent summer aperitif.

May 24, 2015 - Star bright, muted straw in color. Apricot, ginger, honeysuckle on the nose. Bone dry, slight effervescence. Reminiscent of apple cider in the mouth. Drink now.
