  April 27, 2019 - Exactly what I wanted - a down-the-middle Chianti to pair with a red wine risotto with salami dish. The slightly sweet cherry and sufficient acidity of the wine worked well with the touch of sweetness from the semi-soft salami and the creaminess of of the risotto. A pleasure at the table delivered at a reasonable price.

  December 4, 2017 - My first bottle of this producer. Very clean and precise, focusses cherry-fruit. Nice persistence, shows perfect balance. Medium body. Will buy again.

  November 25, 2017 - Drank over the course of 2 days. Held up very well; gained some harmony on Day2. Medium garnet color. Aromas of red fruit, pepper, cured meat and forest floor. Medium body and smooth texture, with the red fruit and pepper standing out. Reasonably balanced, with Medium+ acid, rich tannins, and a Medium+ finish. Drinks good on its own, but found myself wishing for a plate of pasta to go with it.
